shine a light on the music industry.
From East to West coast traveling with saxophones and microphones a business was
born out of Berks Jazz Fest and a passion for music. This latest project proves his hobby
has crescendoed into something that’s catching the eye of some big time musicians.
Donna and Jake Ruth’s Ilumnatunes had the honor of building a Bass Guitar lamp for Verdine
White, the co founder of Earth Wind and Fire. They donated the lamp to the Verdine White
Foundation that sponsors underprivileged children to get into arts and music programs.
The custom autographed lamp will be auctioned for a big fundraiser soon. The Ruths also
support many other foundations such as Cystic Fibrosis, American Face, Heart Association
and American Cancer Society. They support the musicians by having lamps signed, with
no extra cost to the consumer. Each year the Ruths try to add a newly designed lamp and
products to their line. Jake is an aerospace machinist and will custom make almost anything
the customer desires. This year they introduced three new things to the line. The new lamp is
a vintage Shure Elvis microphone lamp that is a must see along with a Piano Lamp, a must
see black baby grand. This was very popular at Berks. Donna also introduced a boutique
line of jewelry and accessories with the musical theme. Have you heard about the Lampsters?
A name the musicians and good friends gave to the Ruths.
